Many single mothers find themselves in a cycle that leads to hopelessness and long-term dependence on public assistance. They can’t find a job that will support their families because they don’t have an education. They don’t have an education because they can’t afford child care and they can’t afford child care because they don’t have a good job.
My Father’s House Lubbock is an ecumenical Christian ministry that provides a way out for women who are poverty-impacted, homeless, abused or at risk, but want to take a new direction in their lives.
