Mission & Ministry
MISSION STATEMENT To minister to women in need while they receive mental, emotional, spiritual, educational, and vocational support to change the direction of their lives, restore hope, and empower their future and the future of their children.

My Father’s House Lubbock is an ecumenical ministry to women in need, designed as a comprehensive Christian living and learning center for women who seek to change the direction of their lives

  • to change from dependency to self sufficiency as financial provider for her family
  • to become an effective and loving mother who encourages and motivates her children
  • to equip herself with skills to manage key relationships and responsibilities, and
  • to demonstrate responsible personal choices and decision-making reflecting a Christian lifestyle.

My Father’s House Lubbock

  • Offers poverty-impacted, homeless, abused, crime-affected, and other at-risk women a safe haven while they heal, learn, transform, and thrive.
  • Meets short-term needs while focusing on long-term success
  • Brings together women-in-need with the services and support necessary to effect long-term sustainable change.
  • Guides and reinforces faith-based education and training programs with Christian mentoring, goal-setting and role-modeling.

STATEMENT OF FAITH We believe in the unity of the Godhead, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The foundation of My Father's House Lubbock is Jesus Christ; therefore, each volunteer must be a Christian. The truths, the basic truths of Christianity are: Jesus

  • was born of a virgin,
  • lived a sinless life and died for the sins of mankind,
  • rose victoriously from the grave on the third day,
  • promised the indwelling Holy Spirit to believers to instruct, guide and empower the believer, and
  • sits at the right hand of the Father to make intercession for Christians today as we pray to the Father in His Name.

We, as fellow believers, will encourage each participant involved in My Father's House Lubbock ministry to seek understanding and acceptance of Jesus as their Lord and Savior
