A second area of education that we offer is Graduation Equivalency Diploma (GED) classes through the Lubbock Independent School District. This program is for women who are 18 or older who do not have a high school diploma and want to pursue college, seek a career or find a better job. We offer daytime and evening classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. or 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Single mothers with children should consider applying for our residential program. If selected for residency, each participant must take Christian Women’s Job Corps classes within her first year and be enrolled full time in college or pursuing a career. Each resident must have a part-time job as well as their own mode of transportation.
