At My Father’s House Lubbock, we offer single women the tools and resources they need to achieve self sufficiency. This includes everything from low-cost housing and free childcare services, to vocational training and emotional support.
As women transition away from their old habits and lifestyles, they will find security and structure in My Father’s House residential program. Private apartments give families privacy, and a large commercial kitchen, dining room and education wing provide a community for residents to grow and learn together. Residents at My Father’s House participate in a 12-week program through the Christian Women’s Job Corps, which provides intense training in Christian life skills and job readiness. The program helps to reinforce its training through mentoring by Christian women. Learn more about the Christian Women’s Job Corps.
The Mary Louise Child Development Center at My Father’s House provides consistent, quality child care to both residents’ children and to children from the greater Lubbock community. It is a licensed, Christian childcare center which promotes hands-on learning and instruction for preschool children age 1 month to 5 years. Learn more about the Child Development Center.
